Erdo Okatan
Erdo is a founding member of FOS Advisors and leads the firm’s overall direction. He has over 25 years of international healthcare industry experience. Throughout his career, Erdo has orchestrated several merger, acquisition, and strategic alliance transactions. He is an expert in MedTech industry dynamics, valuation and risk assessment, and complex transactions.
Prior to FOS Advisors, Erdo held key management positions at Olympus America, Inc., leading the surgical endoscopy business in the US. He was also a founding member of the Global Business Development Center within Olympus Medical Systems Group in Tokyo. There, he sourced and structured direct investments in innovative growth companies, headed strategic planning focused on innovations in Minimally Invasive Surgery, and led corporate global growth strategies.
Erdo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf, Germany and an MBA from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. He is fluent in English, German and Turkish.

Ken Burrell
Ken leads the M&A Advisory Practice for the firm with day to day responsibilities for the firm’s business development and client acquisition activities. Ken also leads our deal teams in executing M&A transactions for our sell-side US and International based clients.
Prior to joining FOS Advisors Ken was a seasoned investment banker with 10+ years of professional experience with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as well as Banco Santander S.A. He also spent five years in alternative asset management within Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital focusing on debt and equity principal investment transactions. During his career Ken has been a trusted advisor to C-Suite Executives working with companies through all business growth cycles from early stage start-ups to Fortune 1000 corporations.
Ken attended Harvard with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts with a major in Economics and the Harvard Business School Executive Program. He is a Member of the Harvard Club.

Christian Ritter
Christian has day to day responsibilities for consulting and M&A advisory activities in the firm. He has over 20 years of international medical device experience and bringing new technologies to market. Throughout his career he has managed numerous strategic partnerships and addressed growth needs from new entrants to market leaders. He is an expert in minimally invasive and emerging technologies, M&A company assessments, and strategic positioning for M&A.
Prior to joining the firm Christian held marketing positions with Misonix and Olympus America, where he developed a strong understanding of the orthopedic, neuro, spine and maxillofacial markets and managed corporate partnerships with Aesculap, Arthrex, and Covidien. Prior, he was a strategy consultant for J&J Ethicon.
Christian holds a Master’s in Business Administration from TSM Business School in Enschede, Netherlands, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH University of Aachen, Germany. He has lived in three countries and speaks German, French, and some Dutch.

Hagen Wenzek
Hagen guides the DigitalHealth activities of the firm and is Chief Innovation Officer at CorporateHealth International, a client portfolio company of FOS Advisors. Hagen is an industry executive with over 25 years of technology industry experience in strategy development, technology operations and consulting.
Prior to FOS Advisors, Hagen served two years as EVP and CTO at IPG Mediabrands, a global media agency in New York. Hagen also held several leadership positions at IBM in the US and in Germany for over 11 years. As a key team member and thought leader, Hagen helped shape IBM’s Corporate Strategy initiatives including M&A and partnership-based growth plans. He also was instrumental to the transformation of the Global Technology Services unit to become a cloud-led growth driver for IBM.
Hagen holds a Master and Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH University of Aachen and a Doctoral Degree from the University of Hagen, Germany. He is fluent in English and German.

Kristin Lotito
Kristin has been with FOS Advisors since 2015. She conducts company, industry, and market research for the firm. Kristin supports FOSA’s M&A deal teams in the creation of marketing material, buyer prospecting and transaction execution.
Kristin is an accomplished athlete, having competed as a Category 1 Sponsored Cyclist at the national level in the US and was previously a goalkeeper in the Italian National Women’s Soccer League Serie A, A2 teams. While in Italy she worked for an Italian company creating and executing business development opportunities to enable entry into the US market.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cornell University. She has co-authored a publication in Biomechanics and Sports Medicine and contributed to laboratory research at the University of Bologna. Kristin holds dual citizenship and is fluent in English and Italian.
